The colors that are opposite each other on the color circle are complementary colors. By using these contrasting color combinations, both colors are enhanced by each other. This creates a lively interior that exudes strength. The most common combinations are green-rose, yellow-blue, blue-red and purple-orange.
2. COMBINE HARMONIOUS COLORS
By combining adjacent colors on the color circle you get harmonious color combinations. Frequently used combinations are orange-red, blue-turquoise and green-yellow. To bring out the harmonious colors, combine them with neutral tones such as white, gray or black.
3. TON SUR TON SHADES – SHOW BY TONE COLOR COMBINATIONS
Ton-Sur-Ton shades are colors with the same color tone and a different amount of white. This color combination is ideal to create subtle nuances in your interior. Show-on-tone shades can be found in the store by using the color swatches. On this is always one basic color with different gradations white. You can also apply the tone-on-tone principle in a white interior. By giving the ceiling and the walls different shades of white, the room will feel a lot more pleasant.
